From now until 7 February 2022 we are running our annual consultation on our plans for the year ahead and we would really like to hear what you think.

Making sure County Durham and Darlington have the safest people and safest places is a way of life for all us here in the Service. Every emergency call matters, every incident is responded to with the highest level of care and professionalism and we do all we can to protect those who live, work, study and visit County Durham and Darlington.

From now until 7 February 2022 we are running our annual consultation on our plans for the year ahead and we would really like to hear what you think.

The Fire and Rescue Service's role has evolved over recent years, not only do we respond to emergencies, which include major fires, road traffic collisions, flooding and water rescues, and acts of terrorism but we also work hard in the community to prevent accidents from occurring, and protecting the public when they do. As part of this work we continually assess what risks our communities face and then put plans in place about how we use our resources to manage and respond to those risks.

These plans will have an impact on our Service as a whole and as an organisation rooted in the communities we serve it is important to us to take into account what you think.
